Don Bosco Samoa

Don Bosco Samoa (DBS) is an outreach of the Salesians of Don Bosco of the Australia Pacific Province. We work directly with disadvantaged young people in Samoa and Fiji.

Our goal is to provide poor and disadvantaged young people with hope and a positive future by means of education, trades training, sport and recreation activities and cultural opportunities.

We currently work in the following locations:

  • Don Bosco Technical Centre, Alafua
  • Don Bosco High School and Vocational Centre, Salelologa
  • St Francis de Sales Parish, Salelologa
  • St John Bosco Parish, Moamoa – Sinamoga
  • St Michael'sParish, Parish – Leauva’a, Samoa
  • Don Bosco Formation House, Suva, Fiji

The Salesian priests and brothers working with Don Bosco Samoa are mainly local Samoans, together with Salesians originally from Tonga, Australia, the Netherlands, the Philippines and Myanmar (Burma) . The staff at our centres are primarily Samoans, supported by a small number of volunteers .

Exploring this website will enable you to learn more about our work to combat poverty and disadvantage so that young people are able to construct hope filled lives and build a positive future for themselves and their families.
